6 great reasons to have an at home newborn session!

You don't have to arrive anywhere by a certain time - If you have ever had a newborn baby then you will know this is just about the greatest reason to shoot at home!

Your home is part of your new baby's story - we get to capture the nursery, that special teddy bear or monster truck that your great nan gave your babe, all of those memories that will be so special to you in 10,20,30 + years time.

You are where you are most comfortable - This is where you are most at ease right? And if you have older children & pets they will be too.

Your little one sets the pace - we have plenty of time & everything close by so if we need to stop to soothe, feed or just take a breather we can.

Your photos will be unique - Your story is unique so your photos should be too. We get to capture your family surrounded by all the the things you love in and around your home.

Baby can be photographed at any age you choose - from 1 week to 3 months is the perfect time to capture those new baby feels.

Don't worry about your home being messy, you have a newborn baby so that is exactly what I would expect your house to look like. All you need to worry about is keeping your house nice & warm & opening up all the blinds & curtains to let some beautiful light in, I will worry about the rest. We really do only need a small area to create some magic & I can move anything out of the way if needed. We can capture beautiful portrait style images next to a window or on your bed & I will also capture the moments in-between (feedings, nappy changes, siblings "helping" etc) When my clients look back at their images, these are often the ones they treasure the most. It is best to book your session well in advance to avoid missing out. If your delivery date changes & your babe arrives early or late we can be flexible in making another date for you.
